Mercedes-Benz W213 E63 Catless Downpipes — M177 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8

YPG Motorsport catless downpipes for the Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63 S (W213) replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters with full 3.5-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel pipes. The result: significantly reduced backpressure, faster turbo spool, sharper throttle response, and a deeper, more aggressive V8 exhaust note with pronounced burbles and crackles on overrun.

On the M177 platform, downpipes are the single highest-impact bolt-on modification available. When paired with a Stage 2 ECU calibration, expect 750–800 HP and 800–850 lb-ft of torque — turning the E63 S into a legitimate 10-second quarter-mile car in full sedan form. The all-wheel-drive system hooks every bit of it.

Installation

Professional installation recommended. Requires vehicle lift access. Installation time is approximately 2–3 hours. A Stage 2 ECU calibration is required to eliminate the check engine light (CEL) caused by rear O2 sensor deletion and to unlock the full performance potential of the downpipes. YPG Motorsport offers remote ECU flashing worldwide — OBD2 tool shipped to your door, guided session, 30–45 minutes, fully reversible.
