We have a 14-day return policy, you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return and then 14 days from the point of us accepting the return to return the goods to us.
Should you notify us of a return within 14 days of delivery, you will be eligible for full refund (excluding shipping costs and any additional services (painting, ceramic coating etc.) which are non-refundable. You will have 14 days from the date of notifying us to return the item, otherwise your return will be rejected.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
When returning an item for a refund, you will be liable to cover all return costs for your order. We also do not refund your original shipping fee.
If you are returning your item to exchange for another product, we do not cover the return costs and you will be liable to pay for a new shipping fee once your exchange has been arranged.
To start a return, you visit our page here. If your return is accepted, you will receive all of the instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages or Wrong Item Received
In the event a product arrives damaged to your location, please follow the steps listed below.
All of our products are thoroughly checked before leaving our warehouse. Please inspect your order upon reception. If the parcel is visually damaged on receipt, please reject the item. In the unlikely event of receiving a damaged, defective item or if you receive the wrong item, please take photos of the damage and contact us immediately. This means that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If you have received the wrong item, please contact our team immediately and we will get this resolved as soon as possible.
All damaged items must be reported to the shipping carrier immediately and you must notify Reinhart Autohaus within 48 hours of receiving your order. If these steps are not followed, your shipment may be denied claim to our guarantees and a refund.
Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products, special orders, built-to-order and pre-order products, additional services (i.e warranties, ceramic coatings, product painting), personalised items, gift cards, Reinhart Autohaus Outlet products, products that have been used/installed before return, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
In the event you return an item that has been used or installed, you may not be entitled to a refund. In the instance where a return of this kind is accepted by us at our discretion, it will be subject to 50% restocking fee. Failing that, it will not refunded at all.
Built-to-Order / Pre-Order Products
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, please note that we are not obligated to accept cancellations for products that are made to your individual specifications. This includes any items identified (not specific to) as “Built-to-Order” or “Pre-Order”—typically marked as such beneath the “Add to Cart” button—which are specially sourced or manufactured and not part of our standard stock.
While estimated lead times are provided as guidance, your purchase is protected by our 90-Day Assurance Policy. Should the actual shipping date exceed the quoted lead time by more than 90 days, you will be entitled to either a full refund or store credit, at our discretion.
Product / Order Exchange
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
However, if you don't want to do it that way you can also contact our team and we will help arrange a product exchange for you. All product exchanges will require the customer to return the item first and cover for all shipping costs incurred.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Shipping
FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL have package pick-up locations if you are unable to sign for the package. If the package is returned to Reinhart Autohaus or the manufacturer, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 25% restocking fee if you choose not to have the item reshipped. These fees will be charged to your account on file or invoiced to you. An order that has shipped from our location or a supplier cannot be cancelled—these are classified as returns. Unfortunately, once it has shipped, restocking fees will apply if they are applicable.
