Why the 720S responds so well to Stage 2

McLaren engineered the M840T with headroom the factory calibration never uses. Turbocharger hardware, fuelling, and engine internals are all sized well beyond what a stock ECU asks of them.

Address the ECU and the exhaust downstream of the turbos, and the M840T responds — not with a compromise, but with the numbers it was built to make. 920bhp. 760 lb-ft. Two modifications.
